The Forbidden Collaboration: Godzilla vs. Evangelion
This figure is inspired by the original concept of “What if G-cells were injected into Evangelion Unit-01?”—a bold idea that became a sensation among fans. Now, Evangelion Unit-01 “G” Awakened Form appears in the Deforeal series as the striking “Burning G Awakened Form.”
The design blends the organic power of Godzilla with the mechanical presence of Evangelion Unit-01, recreated in a deformed yet highly detailed style. This Burning G Awakened Form features a newly sculpted head, left arm, and Angel Halo. The entire body is finished in colors that combine the awakened Evangelion Unit-01 with the fiery energy of Burning Godzilla.
Fluorescent paint has been applied to the dorsal fins and other red areas. Under a black light (sold separately), these sections glow brilliantly, recreating the appearance of an awakened, energy-charged form. For best results, use a commercially available black light with a dominant wavelength of 400 nm or more.
The limited edition also includes a power unit (requires two AA batteries, sold separately) that illuminates the figure’s eyes and chest core, adding even more impact to your display.
This imaginative three-dimensional interpretation of Godzilla vs. Evangelion showcases a form that could only be realized through this unique collaboration, a vision so striking it even inspired gaming machine designs.
About G-cells
Godzilla cells are highly corrosive and, once introduced into other organisms, alter their tissues dramatically. Many monsters in the Godzilla series are the result of G-cell influence.
This product uses some parts from the Deforeal Evangelion Unit-01 “G” Awakening Form released in 2023.
