This product is based on the original garage kit model that Yuji Sakai introduced in 2017, inspired by Godzilla's viaduct scene in the trailer, which Sakai considers the coolest.
To commemorate the limited-time release of the Blu-ray and DVD of 'Shin Godzilla: Orthochromatic' in 2023, it is now available as an 'Orthochromatic Version' with the entire body painted in monochrome.
Under the supervision of Yuji Sakai, the clear parts are painted silver from the inside, creating the effect of the entire body emitting light. This allows the figure to replicate Godzilla's movie appearance, with the body glowing white and shining brightly in the darkness.
For this Orthochromatic Version of Godzilla (2016), Sakai visited the film's location in Ogigatani, Kamakura, and combined it with the 'Godzilla (2016) 4th Form Orthochromatic Version' based on a photograph taken from the same angle as in the movie.
As with the initial release, this version uses a master mold created by converting Sakai's cast prototype into wax. The product is crafted exclusively from this master mold, with a focus on minimizing wear and tear during the soft vinyl production process to preserve the intricate details.
